My GM Rewards and My GM Rewards Mastercard Launch
Launching the My GM Rewards loyalty program and the new My GM Rewards Mastercard was a labor of love for a team of almost 100 people. We entered the full campaign into the 2023 Effie Awards in both the “New Product or Service - Line Extension” and the “Customer Experience/Marketing Innovation Solutions” categories — and we were honored by being a finalist in both. Side note, I both wrote the script and did the VO for this.
The Give List
The Give List was a fantastic idea from one of our senior creative teams in 2019 — figuring out an innovative way to have our Cardmembers give Earnings that they had accrued to friends, family members or anyone else that they knew.
For 2020/2021, we continued the campaign and added a twist that had special meaning during the pandemic — Cardmembers could also give their Earnings to First Responders that they knew, who could then add their First Responder discount to the amount for a new GM vehicle. This not only led to $25M in vehicle sales, but also a Gold in the FCS Portfolio Awards - in the “Financial Industry - Integrated Marketing” category.

Every time I watch it, it still gives me goosebumps — and is a great reminder that even a small thank you can go such a long way. I wrote the script for this as well.
